Annual Potluck Picnic and Social
This is a potluck picnic so bring your favorite dish to share. Dessert and drinks will be provided. 2024 inductee into the Mushers Hall Of Fame is Roxy Wright,.the only woman to win the Fur Rondy Open World Championship Sled Dog Race, and the first woman to claim the Open North American Championship in Fairbanks!
From 10-5 on Wednesdays during the summer, come downtown for fresh produce and Alaskan made gifts. Located at Wasilla Iditapark near the Wonderland playground.

WKHS Board meets on the last Tuesday of each month at 5:00pm in the basement of the Teeland Building, home to Krazy Moose Subs.
Homestead Survivors' Reunion
Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Palmer Depot! It's a time to come together, listen to and tell stories, and reminisce about the early days of the Mat-Su Valley. This is a potluck event, so bring your favorite homesteader dish!

Our annualAlaska Day Dinner will be held on Friday, October 20 at the Palmer Elks Lodge
Doors open at 4:30 for a Meet and Greet, followed by the Famous Dessert Auction at 6:00. Bring your yummiest dessert to tempt your fellow bidders! A buffet dinner, served at 7:00, will be followed by our guest speaker, Jeff Schultz, the Official Volunteer Photographer of the Iditarod. He will be sharing photos and stories of the trail.
